The seal consists of two parts. The lip sealing ring, made of rubberized fabric and the base ring, printed with a special very rigid fabric. This particular ring performs an anti-extrusion function, ensuring long life for the sealing element and if subjected to higher pressure, it itself performs a sealing function. These seals are normally used in double-acting cylinders, also due to their small size.
